Danila Ruusu (19). Living in Tallinn, Estonia.
Studying in Tallinn's University on the Faculty of Physical Education.I started my sport activities when I was really young I used to play soccer. Since then I have tried a lot of different sport activities. Finally I found a speed-skating which includes the best of everything. I started skating when I was 15years old, my first "speed-skating" steps I made on ice, in the same year's summer I started inline.
Last two years I was representing Finland's speed-skating club HTL. Last year I skated marathons in Estonian "Stamina Cup". I also took part in Estonian Inline Junior Championship 2006 (II place in 10km and I place in 500m).

I am very exited about going to WIC races, it really feels like a dreams become true. This will be a good experience and great opportunity to improve my skating and teamwork skills. I am ready to give my best on each race. I am really proud to be a part of the Bont Finland team.

My winter training was great; I made a lot of hard work with my coach to improve my skating abilities, and get myself ready for the summer season. In this year I also took part in 2007 Torino Winter Universiade. I hade a couple injuries during the winter season, but they are gone now and I am ready to strike. Winter training included a lot of bicycle and physical trainings, which gives hopes for the good start at the summer.

My goal in WIC races is to give my best at the track and be as much helpful for the team as I can. It would be fantastic to get in a top 30 but hey… why not top 10? Everything is up to us… right?

My season opening race is going to be on 05.05.07 in Basel, Switzerland.
Oh… counting the days.
